August Newsletter

Message from the President

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. I can't believe it is time for the August newsletter. I'm still working on projects around the house that were supposed to be done in the Spring. I didn't hit that target.
Thank you JoLynn for the use of the family cabin for another wonderful retreat. Thanks to Lisa for the all the hard work to get it organized. Thanks to JoLynn and Pat for the delicious food. Thanks to the board for all their help and to all who taught for all the work. Thank you to all for helping with food and cleaning and everything else that came up.  It was another fun retreat. Past Events

June Retreat

June Retreat was so much fun.  We want to thank Jolynn for the use of her Cabin.  The view was spectacular, and the weather couldn't have been better.  Lisa planned a wonderful variety of projects, and we all left with them almost completed.  Thanks Lisa for a great painting retreat!  AND as always, the food was spectacular thanks to Betty, Pat and Jolynn.  I think we all came away a few extra pounds heavier, but much lighter in spirit and ready for the summer.  Bunnies, rabbits and spring time projects were everywhere.

Our theme for Retreat next year will be "Travel".  Be thinking about the classes you would like to take and would like to teach, and share your ideas with Betty V.
See you all at the Luncheon.
Glenna Nielsen-Grimm
