October Newsletter

President's Message
I would like to thank everyone for attending the September Guild Meeting. We painted a “Haunted Mansion” with Nola Phillips. I would like to thank her for teaching this darling Project! Almost everyone took home a completed project. In October, we are having our Seminar with Karen Hubbard. The Coasters will be taught on Friday, October 14th and the Small Friends Plaque will be taught on October 15th. The plaques ($10) and the coasters ($15) are at Glenna’s Studio. Also, I will be out of town from 10/4 thru 10/12/16. The classes start at 9:00 am and a light breakfast and a lunch will be served each day. I’m looking forward to painting these wonderful projects with you! I hope to see all of you there!

Chapter Business Update
Two items of business to be discussed at our October meeting.  We will need to have nominations for all of our offices, especially for President-Elect.  Voting will need to be done in November so we can announce the new leadership for 2017. We need to be thinking what we want to do to help the chapter.

September Meeting:  We had a great time painting our Haunted Mansions, taught by Nola Phillips.  We had good food, the painting was fun, and it was just great to be back together again.
