February Meeting

It didn't take long for the fun to begin.  Plenty of visiting and getting caught up with all that is new and bright, eager to put the winter behind us and look forward to the upcoming Springtime.   The project that Nola has prepared for us to paint is just the ticket to usher in Spring!
Before we got started with the monthly matters of business and of course the raffle drawings we had a little show and tell.  Sandra Boyer brought the quilt top she has painted and assembled.  This is one of JoSonja's patterns.  This is absolutely beautiful! Thanks Sandra for sharing this with us.
Loreen (AKA Vanna)

OK ladies, it is time to paint!
And paint we did.  This was such a laid back, happy project to paint.  As for me, I thought about my cute little 6 year old Ellyse (granddaughter) who loves animals, the entire time I was painting and my thoughts of her continued on through the completion of this piece. Guess you know where my little bunny resides.
Thank you Nola for providing a wonderful project and a delightful day of painting.

Jolene hardly working?

Velma is delighted just watching her daughter paint. Jan is painting with the intent to get this project finished before going home.
This was such a fun project. We were taught by a fabulous teacher Nola Phillips, surrounded by great painting partners and a fabulous lunch.  It was so good, we should do it again this month.  What a good idea!  Here is what's on tap.  Mark your calendar for Saturday 15 March.  We'll conduct business at 9:00 and start painting about 9:30.
