Utah Guild of Heritage Artists November 2022 Newsletter

President’s Message from Marilyn Healy:

October's painting class was a blast. I definitely need more practice. Well here comes the winter season. We had a beautiful snowfall the other day.

If you did not hear yet, we will finish up this year and have a few seminars next year but no monthly meetings. No Guild going forward. I have talked to one group that has

decided to just have seminars and no monthly meetings as well.

The Christmas party has been reserved at Marie Callendar’s on 3900 South and

1109 East. Begins at 12:00 noon on December 3rd. Bring a gift to exchange ($15.00). We

can order off the menu.

This month we will be meeting on November 19th starting at 9:00 a.m. Nola will be teaching Lynne Andrews' Three Santas. See photo below.  We suggest you wear masks at the meeting to protect Nola and all of us from the viruses going around.

We also need some raffle items for the November meeting.

Have your pieces based in so we can get more than one completed. Lynne Andrews uses a chalky or light finish. You decide if you want to base your wood in solid or lighter.
