President’s Message:
Happy New Year! I think the year 2022 is a nice even number so we can expect a nice calm, even year. That is what I am hoping for anyway. I know the COVID 19 numbers are high so if you are not comfortable with coming to meet in person, we have Zoom available.
Please plan on joining us as Betty Van Pelt will be teaching a cute snowman project. I am painting mine on a galvanized bucket. We did something like that years ago, but I gave mine away as a gift. So, I am needing one I can put snowmelt in. It has different seasons of snowmen on it, and this will be great on the porch. You can decide what surface you paint on though.
Kay has so graciously agreed to teach a concrete cat in February. This will be great in the yard. Maybe it will keep the raccoons away. She has painted up an orange and a grey one to offer two options.
Stay safe!
Marilyn Healy
Board President

Christmas Party Photos
We all had a lot of fun at the UGHA Christmas party. Thank you to Betty for being our fearless leader the past two Covid years. She did a tremendous job and worked hard to keep us all painting during the Covid epidemic. We owe her a huge debt of gratitude.
We made a few changes to how we run our guild. Instead of having a full board, we reduced the board size down to three. Our president is Marilyn Healy and Loretta Tatum and Gail Jensen serve on the board. Please be willing to help these ladies out as we go through the year!
Here are photos of the people that won the items painted by Karen Brouwer, lucky folks!
