Hi all,

I'm sad to announce we will be canceling the Opening Social. We want everyone to remain healthy.  I miss seeing everyone but want to be sure we can see you in the future.  I hope everyone is well.

Our September meeting will be a Zoom meeting. Normal date and time, September 19 at 9 am.  For those that want a test run we will have a quick Zoom test the night before at 6:30.  The class will be pre-recorded and the link will be on the Blog and probably e-mailed. Zoom is a free app. If you Google ZOOM the option will come up to download and it will walk you through loading it.

Pat McKean will have wood and patterns for September and October.  Please coordinate with her for payment and pick up of the surface(s). We will try to make it as contact free as possible.  FYI - There are no electronic payment options at this time.

If you are missing classes, many teachers are offering free classes or inexpensive classes.

Try Facebook or YouTube.

Some I have been looking at/taking on Facebook:

Once a month on Thursday night at 6 MT she is doing a free innovative pencil (mix of JoSonja paint as watercolor and pencil). The other Thursdays are a tip night her daughter Aubrey does, a product review, and the other is not coming to me.

Sandy McTier Designs
She does the mixed media book, painting, etc.

Tracy Moreau has been doing free Saturday morning classes. Well except you need to buy the e-pattern which is typically $7-$9. (The dragonfly I taught at retreat awhile back was her pattern)

Art Journaling with Tracy Weinzapfel Studios
She is hosting a free 12+ hour - 12 Hour Art Party this Saturday beginning at 9 am.
It is a different teacher at the top of every hour. They are recorded and will be available on the page for a month or two after.

Monette Lassiter Satterfield makes mini books. Does art journaling.

The Social Easel Online Paint Studio Free Group! (sorry can't copy links any more)
Some free classes.
She's been doing her 5 favorite things most Friday mornings.
She also has an inner tribe group. Her painting is pretty simple.

Artfully Connected
Some free classes.
Many pay classes.
Variety of teachers.

Audrey LIVE
Weekly - Thursdays at 11 or 12
From Canada - Live interview and demo from a wide variety of teachers from all over the world.  She is part of Pinterest Canada. I won a free collage journaling class from a woman in the Netherlands.

Crafter Dude Creations
Only watched once and he was doing cards.

Tim Holtz
Live demos with his products

Painting with Plaid is doing Tuesday and Thursday.

There are many.  Watch one or two and links for others start showing up.

If you are not on Facebook Try YouTube:
Janice Timmins - acrylics, colored pencil, and scratch board.
Tracy Moreau - mixed media
and I'm sure many more.

Enjoy!!
Hope to see all of you on ZOOM in September.

Please take care.
