Presidents Message
Hello Ladies! Retreat was absolutely fantastic this
year! Everyone had a wonderful
time! I would like to thank Betty Van
Pelt for all of the planning, JoLyn Johnson for letting us use her awesome
Cabin, Betty and Pat McKean for the delicious food and all of the teachers for
volunteering to teach. Our Opening Social,
“Dive in to Paint”, will be held at Lisa Peck’s House on
August 20th at 11:00 AM. We will be swimming and lunch from Café Rio will
arrive at 12:00 noon. The address will
be in this Newsletter. Join us for games
and a make-it Take-it. I am looking
forward to seeing everyone there! Also,
we will be raising money for the Utah Food bank this year as our Service
Project. Please bring money to help with this worthy cause. Our September Project will be taught by Nola
Phillips from the Heart of Utah Chapter.
It will be a darling Jamie Mills-Price “Haunted Mansion”. Signup sheets
and the project will be at this meeting.
Also, a signup sheet will be there for the Karen Hubbard Seminar in
October. I am looking forward to seeing everyone there! And don't forget that the blog is updated when new information comes in, so keep checking back for more information.

Fall Social: Dive Into Painting
Date: August 20, 2016 (Saturday)
Time: 11:00am start time
Where: Lisa Peck's house 939 East Old English Road (about 13500 South 9393 East), Draper, Utah
Food: Catered by Cafe Rio
Lisa is once again hosting our Fall Opening Social. We will start at 11:00, with a fun Make-It and Take-It project, Food at 12:00 noon, and then time to chat, swim (yes, bring your swim suit and a towel, we can also swim in her awesome pool), eat, drink and just enjoy our afternoon together.
Also, there will be a donation box for "cash" donations to the Utah Food Bank. They can do much more with the money than they can with food donations, so they've asked that we consider a cash donation.
Also plan to view and sign up for our September project with Nola Phillips, and the October Seminar with Karen Hubbard.
